Coate by Samuel Brown, of Beaverdam vicinity, for various medicines and medical services, including "ext[raction of] tooth," "lancing jaw, " "cauterising womb, " with prices charged for mileage travelled for each visit. Other persons represented include Joseph Newton and S.F. Brown, executors of Samuel Brown's estate, including appended affidavits sworn and signed by W.S. Holland, of Pickens District, and W.H. Johnston, of Anderson District, confirming payment of the debt owed.
